Аннотация: A ring $R$ is filial when for every $I$, $J$, if $I$ is an ideal of $J$ and $J$ is an ideal of $R$ then $I$ is an ideal of $R$. Several characterizations and results on structure of commutative reduced filial rings are obtained.
