Features of the interaction of the combustion front of methane–air mixtures with hollow cylindrical and conical obstacles at low pressures

Аннотация: It was shown that at 298 K and 100–300 Torr, the flame front of a well-mixed dilute methane–oxygen mixture, propagating to the ends of hollow cylindrical and conical obstacles, does not form a vortex shedding behind them; however, under the same conditions, this instability occurs when hot products flow behind the obstacles.
