Non-steady propagation of single and counter hydrogen and methane flames in initially motionless gas

Аннотация: An increase in warming up in the combustion of hydrocabons with simultaneous initiation at opposite butt-ends of a cylindrical reactor by a factor of ~2, as compared to flame propagation from a single initiation source, is due to the two-stage combustion process.
