First Examples of Dyes of the Pyridopyrylo- and Pyridopolycarbo-cyanine Series: Synthesis and Special Spectral–Luminescent Properties

Pyridopyrlo- and pyridotri-, tetra- and penta-carbo-cyanines displaying unusual spectral–luminscent properties for polymethine dyes have been synthesized.
