We kindly ask all participants, including remote ones and those
watching recorded videos, to register at this link.
The seminar is devoted to discussion of modern results in probability theory and
theory of random processes, dynamical systems, representations, as well as of older
results in these areas that form a basis for the modern ones. We assume that senior
participants, specialized in the subject of the seminar, will give a talk. The seminar is
mainly intended for 3-4 year bachelor students, master and graduate students.
- Classical representations theory.
- Representations of infinite-dimensional groups. Their relations with algebraic
combinatorics (symmetric functions), classical analysis (orthogonal polynomials),
and probability (point processes and Markov dynamics).
