The proposed course of lectures is a continuation of the spring 2021 course "Introduction to the theory of gas detonation", which focused on the fundamental issue of the mechanisms of initiation of detonation, which is solved numerically within the framework of models taking into account the finite time of occurrence of chemical reactions. In the autumn course, it is planned to consider the formulation and solution of problems about the unsteady shock-wave processes observed in experiments, occurring during detonation, and about multidimensional flow structures.
