Positivity 2022: linear order structures in algebra, analysis, and logic (satellite of ICM-2022) (June 20–July 3, 2022, Saint-Petersburg State University, Saint-Petersburg)
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Petersburg Positivity 2022. This time it will be held as a satellite to the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM, July 6-14). Visa-free entry will be supported by ICM. The first part, June 20-24, could be devoted to the Positivity Summer School. Special sessions and unscheduled time to encourage collaboration will be included in the program. An excursion and banquet on the ship are planned. Please, subscribe to future updates on the conference website.
The research subject “positivity” is the area in mathematics that is devoted to order structures and their applications. Mention some of the topics included: ordered algebraic & topological structures (in particular, ordered topological vector spaces, Banach lattices, and ordered Banach spaces), positive and order bounded operators (including spectral theory, operator equations, ergodic theory), Banach spaces (including their geometry, unconditional and symmetric structures, non-commutative function spaces and asymptotic theory), function spaces, operator algebras, non-standard analysis and Boolean valued models, Boolean algebras and stochastic processes, applications to mathematical finance.
