Branching processes and discrete mathematics, a conference dedicated to the 100th
anniversary of Sevastyanov's birth (October 3, 2023, Steklov Mathematical Institite, 8, Gubkina str., Conference hall + Zoom, Moscow)
The conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of
Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Boris
Aleksandrovich Sevastyanov. He is the founder of the Russian school on the
theory of branching processes. Another broad area developed by
B.A.Sevastyanov and his students were the problems of combinatorial probability
theory and its applications.
Сurrent problems of the theory of branching processes and probabilistic problems
of discrete mathematics will be discussed at the conference.
