15th Conference in Spectral Theory and Mathematical Physics, dedicated to the memory of M.Sh.Birman (June 24–28, 2024, Leonhard Euler International Mathematical Institute, St. Petersburg)
The conference is devoted to spectral theory and its applications in modern mathematical physics. There will be talks on the general operator theory, differential, integral and difference operators, scattering theory, inverse problems, periodic and ergodic operators, asymptotic methods and applications, e.g., on the modern quantum physics and nonlinear physics. We also plan to organize talks devoted to interesting general analytic problems.
This year, the conference also honors the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg University, where M.Sh.Birman served as a professor until his death.
