Some methods for construction of coherrent and incoherent controls for open quantum systems

Abstract: The problem of constructing near-optimal controls is important for various applications in quantum technologies, ranging from quantum computing to laser chemistry. We will discuss some mathematical methods for constructing coherent and incoherent controls for various problems of controlling open quantum systems, including gradient methods such as GRAPE and speed gradient for problems of controlling systems of qubits and a quantum oscillator.
