On Kirkwood-Dirac quasiprobabilities assigned to equiangular tight frames

Abstract: Kirkwood-Dirac quasiprobabilities are currently the subject of active researches due to their rising role in quantum information processing. Applications of equiangular tight frames in quantum information science deserve more attention that they have obtained. The states of an equiangular tight frame allow one to build a non-orthogonal resolution of the identity and obtain a generalized Kirkwood-Dirac distribution with useful properties.
