Real structures on ruled symplectic manifolds

We show that every anti-symplectic involution on a rational or ruled symplectic $4$-manifold $(X,\omega)$ can be realised as complex conjugation for some complex structure $J$ on $X$ compatible with $\omega$. This is joint work with V. Kharlamov.
