Abstract: Modelling quantum systems with continuous degrees of freedom on quantum computer (based on qubits) requires the representation of continuous observables (coordinate and momentum) in the form of binary observables. This problem is considered by resolution of quantum observables in the series of powers of 2, which is analogues to the binary representation of real numbers. In this case, series coefficients ("digits") are orthogonal projectors.
