Seiberg-Witten Theory and Black Hole Physics

Abstract: We are going to present the connection between the Seiberg-Witten-Nekrasov theory and the black hole physics. In particular, we are going to introduce the Regge-Wheeler type equations, which describe the linear perturbations to the corresponding black hole metric. These equations are described by a second order differential operator acting on the perturbation and can be rewritten as a static Schrodinger equation for some specific quantum integrable system. Using the relation between the integrable systems and the SUSY YM theories, we will introduce a procedure for computing quasinormal frequencies in terms of the instanton corrections described by the Nekrasov partition functions.
