Quantum solitons in two-dimensional sigma models A. B. Pikalov |

|
Abstract: In my talk I will discuss properties of two-dimensional sigma model solitons in the large N limit. Firstly I will review a novel approach to the well-known kink quantization problem [1]. Then I will consider effective action for the sigma model in the large N limit and its solitonic solutions. I will also apply the methods developed for the kinks to analyze properties of these solutions. References
