Arithmetic sums with multiplicative coefficients

We shall report on the new estimates for Kloosterman sums and shifted character sums twisted by a multiplicative function $f$ satisfying $|f|\le 1$. The main tool is a modification of Bourgain–Sarnak–Ziegler's finite version of Vinogradov's inequality.
