Duality in properly infinite von Neumann algebras

In this paper it is shown that there is a duality in properly infinite von Neumann algebras which enable us to reduce in principle all the problems of van Neumann algebras of type III to those of von Neumann algebras of type II and their one parameter automtphism groupe.
