Test Elements for Free Solvable Groups of Rank 2

Abstract: It is proved that a free solvable group of rank 2 of degree 3 contains test elements. Thereby we solve the Fine – Shpilrain problem posed in “The Kourovka Notebook” (Question 14.88).
