Abstract:
A new structural and technological scheme has been proposed and a prototype of a plant for soil care in intensive mountain gardening has been developed, which allows mowing and chopping grass vegetation in the aisles, feeding and evenly laying mulch on the loosened section of the near-trunk strip of fruit plantations, followed by mixing it with the soil.
The use of the proposed technology and installation for its implementation allows: to accelerate the process of humification mixed with the soil of finely ground mulch material and the creation of favorable microbiological processes in the soil; improve the efficiency of absorption and accumulation of precipitation; covering the soil with mulch material suppresses the germination of weeds and protects the surface of the loosened soil from excessive evaporation of moisture.
