Abstract: Consideration was given to the problem of discriminatory analysis and effectiveness of the step-by-step procedure of choosing the informative attributes. Risk as a measure of effectiveness was calculated analytically together with its special related characteristic enabling one to estimate dynamics (variation) of the inter-class distances at passing to the informative attributes and propose a new effective procedure of the step-by-step discriminatory analysis.
