Abstract: We develop an analytical approach to redundancy management in technical systems with mismatch control. New results are presented in comparison with the earlier-obtained fundamental principles of this approach for the case of external disturbances in a redundant system. Admissibility conditions and alternative configuration formulas are obtained in two versions, only sufficient or necessary and sufficient. Tutorial examples illustrating the application of the solutions are provided.

Keywords: redundant system, redundancy control, system configuration, admissible configuration, transfer matrix, objective function, matrix canonization.
