Application of theory of active systems to inventory control

The active behavior of consumers is shown to be a major cause of instability in supply of spares. A resource allocation method from the theory of active systems ensures submission of truthful lists of desired spares. The proposed methods and models have been in used in a multi-level spare part supply MIS.
