Improving goal-oriented management in instrumentation

The paper takes up improvement of managing an economic sector by using the goal-oriented programming in development of the long-term technological and economic policies. The results may prove useful to engineers contributing to formulation and implementation of comprehensive research projects and of technology replacement plans.
