Synchronous detection of modulated oscillation envelopes in linear systems

The theorem on synchronous phase signal detection leads to precise equations for envelopes of modulated oscillations at the input and output of a linear system. Updated envelope transfer functions are obtained for propagation of modulated oscillations through a resonance filter.
