An approximate method of static analysis of control failures in automatic systems

Abstract: The paper is concerned with a random vector process which describes the dynamics of a control system in which the control may fail when the system leaves the specified domain. An approximate solution is proposed which leads to the probability that the system will stay in the admissible rectangular domain. The proposed solution is compared with conventional ones in a specific numerical example.
