Estimating service characteristics of a single-line discrete-time systems from empirical data

A method is proposed for development of estimates of discretetime queueing systems from empirical data. An equivalent queueing system may be obtained whose characteristics are associated with those of the initial system by stochastic ranking relations. Examples are provided.
