Abstract:
For every period of the structure which controls the motion of cylindrical magnetic
domains (bubbles) along a of $T -- I$ permalloy pattern four delay positions have been
found. Thus far no explanation has been forthcoming for the essential difference between
the delay positions found by different mathematical modeling techniques and
those found by the opto-electric method and high speed photography. The differences are
explained by the specifics in remagnetization of narrow permalloy $T$ and $I$-patterns that
were overlooked in those models. These specifics are instrumental in explaining the
bubble motion along the $T -- I$ pattern; the delay positions found in this approach match
the experimental findings.
