An indication absolute stability of nonstationary systems

A sufficient condition is provided for absolute stability of nonstationary control systems obtained from a variational approach and the oscillation theory. The condition is expressed in the innor form; when it holds, the control system belongs to a range of systems referred to as absolutely nonoscillary. The method is illustrated with study of a servo drive.
