Optimal control of thermodynamic processes. I

Problems in optimal control of thermodynamic systems are discussed. Unlike classical thermodynamic problems on maximal work and on optimal thermbdynamic cycles the optimum is found among irreversible processes with fixed time and a finite power. Equations are given of controlled thermodynamic processes and some of their properties are discussed.
