Optimal control of operation alternatives for processes in continuous industrial complexes

M. M. Barash, D. M. Liberman

Moscow

Abstract: The problem of optimizing the operation alternatives for processes in continuous industrial complexes is formulated as that of optimal control with piecewise-oonstaint control signals. In this way it is reduced, for cases of applied importance, to a nonlinear programming problem of a special form for which a finite step solution algorithm is developed. Results of numerical experiments are given.
