Spectrum control in systems described by linear equations in hilbert spaces

The dynamic system spectrum control problem is formulated in an abstract mathematical language and its physical and technological applications are discussed. A new method is proposed for investigating this problem whereby the entire discrete spectrum of the specified operator is transformed into the desired one. The possibility of controlling the electron energy levels is discussed.
