A discrete-and-continuous model of a data processing system with simultaneous service of customers and data rase restructuring

Approximate formulae are given for stationary probabilities of states, mean queue length, mean response, and throughput of a data processing system with simultaneous service of customers and data base restructuring. Comparison of the computation and simulation results demonstrates accuracy of the formulae.
