Analysis and design of queueing systems with the use of two-dimensional diffusional approximation

A new approach to diffusional approximation of a queueing system and an approximate procedure for calculating an open-loop network are described. For a range of two-parameter distributions of customer arrival and service probabilities no inherent error of approximation has occurred.
