Developing Systems

An adaptive model of virtual memory in systems with periodic motion of information

V. M. Sumarokov

Tallin

Abstract: The paper is concerned with dynamic memory allocation for creation of databases (DB) in data driven systems (DDS) which enable chronologically selective data accessing and processing on subsets of time periods (data retrieval, planning, etc.). The data from sources is assumed to arrive in batches of variable size, with variable delay, to be stored in DDS BD, and to be periodically updated on the interval of data accumulation with cyclic permutation of period numbers. Analysis of the object environment leads to criteria for data control performance. Fast data access and memory control procedures which meet appropriate criteria are insured through object synthesis of adaptive tools of virtual memory.
