Decomposition in control of distributed systems of hyperbolic type

V. I. Tsurkov

Moscow

Abstract: A decomposition method operates by introducing macrovariables for control of distributed systems; the systems are described as partial equations with mixed condi tions. The central questions for the interative process are optimality of the interim solution and local monotoneity of the functional. An application example is given in which all procedures of the decomposition method can be analytically investigated.
