Abstract:
We consider the problem of structural-parametric synthesis of a complex technical system, such as a flexible manufacturing system (FMS) for assembly or machining of a given range of products. The initial problem is decomposed using the aggregation function and solved by a branch-and- bound algorithm with lower bounding of the criterion functional. The complexity of the algorithm is compared with the successive aggregation method. The method is applied to synthesize an FMS for the assembly of miniaturized products which is based on electromagnetic microstepping motion modules (EMMM).
