Parametric optimization of nonlinear control systems by the method of orthogonal projections

The method of orthogonal projections [1] is combined with the method of nonlinear programming for approximate parametric design and optimization of nonlinear control systems with any number of nonlinear elements for an integral estimate of the transient error or the stationary dynamic error.
