On determining the competence of experts by mutual evaluation

The paper is concerned with relation of truth of information obtained from the expert by mutual evaluation with his competence. Functional models of this relation are introduced and analyzed. The possibility is studied of using a linear model in a conventional procedure of computing the expert competence factor from the results of their mutual evaluation.
