Optimization of dynamic systems with a generalized control

Abstract: A method is proposed of discontinuous time substitution for transforming problems of optimal control of systems with an infinite right-hand side into equivalent optimal control problems in conventional formulation. The notion is introduced of generalized control, equivalence of the original and auxiliary problems is established, and the optimal path is described by a generalized differential equation with a measure.
