Models and design procedures of distributed databases

Methods are surveyed to rank and optimize the structures of distributed databases, DDB, at the stages of MIS pre-design analysis, engineering, and operation. Analysis and structuring models, methods, and algorithms are examined for the users' subject areas as are ways to design logical and physical BBD structures optimal by various criteria. Problem statements, strategies, and ways to rearrange BBD are also discussed.
