On application range of approximate bulk service network design

The accuracy and sensitivity are analyzed of one approximate way to design bulk service networks by decomposition into quasi independent parts. For various binds of approximation (open-loop system with an infinite queue, a limited queue, and a finite source) the design results and asymptotic estimates are provided.
