Parametric learning in recognition of a flow of random events. II. Consistency Conditions for Parameter Estimates

The problem of learning in recognition of a flow of random events is regarded as that of estimating the parameter of a random sequence. Requirements are studied to parametric models of random processes that make maximal likelihood estimates consistent.
