Multi-Optional Programming and Its Application

Abstract: Multi-optional programming (in particular, woth restoration units) for real-time data processing and control systems operating systems, etc. is surveyed. Methods to improve program fault tolerance and confidence levels and their functional characteristics are described. The results of experimental studies are analyzed. Fault-tolerant computing systems with their software are classified by identical and non-identical redundancy of various types Is introduced.
