An extension of the method of string sums for incomplete pairwise comparisons

A method is proposed of object estimation by incomplete pairwise comparisons. The estimates are solutions of a system of linear equations. The features of the method are studied and its axiomatic characteristic is obtained. A statistical interpretation is provided of object estimates.
