Asymptotics of the rung-type contrast structure for a class of variational problems

Consideration was given to a class of simplest variational problems with fixed ends where the derivative is involved in the small-parameter integrant. For the solution with internal transient layer of the “rung” type, an asymptotics was constructed and the existence conditions were established.
