Abstract:
In analyzing the competion mechanism of respurce allocation among $n$ users it has been found [1] that (1) a Nash equilibrium exists which is determined by the behavioral strategy of the «best» loser and (2) that the resource allocation is near-optimal. Unlike [1] which assumed that the winners and losers do not make coalitions, the conditions for such coalitions and the impact made by the coalitions on the system efficiency are analyzed.
