Developing Systems

Coordinated planning in a three-level active system

K. S. Sagyngaliev

Alma-Ata

Abstract: The problem of coordinated planning is discussed with a specified functioning mechanism which is coordinated for implementation of the plan in a three-level active system with passive intermediate centers and all the information available. The model of this problem is adapted to cases important in applications: (a) the model of the main center function is convex and those of intermediate center and active element functions, linear; (b) the model of the coordinated planning problem is completely linear. The initial problem is transformed into an equivalent problem of coordinated planning in a two-level active system. Parametric methods employing a parametric description of the set oi coordinated plans are shown to work in solving the equivalent problem.
