Asymptotic analysis of cache memory performance in multiprocessor systems

A model is proposed which describes the effect of the input-output intensity and informational dependences of the jobs on the effective memory access time in multiprocessor systems. Asymptotical formulae are obtained which are helpful in computation for choice of the size of cache memories as a function of the workload.
