Estimating the reliability of redundant restorable systems with the monitoring and switching characteristics known

A procedure is described of obtaining an estimate of failurefree operation and repairability of systems with fast resotration, fast detection of element failures, fast switching to the redundant elements and low frequency of additional faults in the course of periodic checks. The resultant estimates are compared with accurate data or with the simulation results and found close.
