Abstract:
A formalized analysis procedure is proposed for similarity of two different descriptions of the same economy element which is regarded as a process to be controlled. According to Refs [1, 2] the description is regarded as a scheduling or functioning operator which specific correspondence of input and oulput functions of time. Those descriptions are regarded as similar which ensure for a fairly representative set of initial functions uniform proximity of the resulting function in the sense of some distance, with the required accuracy. The concept of distance is updated for economic systems and similarity conditions for discrete- and continuous-time descriptions of batch production are obtained.
